Thanksgiving is a time when we traditionally count our blessings. In spite of a challenging year in so many ways, most of us still have very much for which to be thankful.
For those not so fortunate in our community, Chardon UMC provides Thanksgiving baskets of food for a complete meal. This year there were ten families, ten senior families, and five Feed My People families for whom your generous donations provided a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
In addition, the Geauga County Department of Aging requested assistance with their Holiday Meals Program for shut-ins and other needy senior citizens. They asked for donations (a $10.00 donation will purchase a free holiday meal for one person), as well as volunteers to help deliver the meals.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity,
