Christmas Baskets – Food and Gifts for Families in Need |

|
The season of Christmas giving, a long-standing Christian tradition, is soon upon us. Again this year, there will be many people in our community who won’t have a Christmas dinner or Christmas gifts without your sharing and caring. Chardon U.M.C. has provided food and gift items to those in need as long as most of us can remember.
In this year with its challenges for most of us, there are 12 families and 11 senior families who are hoping that you help provide food and gifts, and 5 Feed My People Families who are hoping that you help provide food. Please prayerfully consider signing up to purchase food and gift items. Drivers to deliver food and gifts are also needed. The sign-up boards for food, gifts, and drivers will be located outside Hayden Hall or near the atrium.
You may bring the food or gifts to the church at any time prior to the 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service, December 20, 2009 when the food and gifts will be delivered. Please put perishables in the designated refrigerator or freezer in the kitchen adjacent to Hayden Hall. Nonperishables and gifts may be left by the sign-up boards. We appreciate your caring and sharing for those not so fortunate at this time of celebration of the greatest Gift, Jesus. If you have any questions, please contact Mission Committee members, Don Mayer, 440-286-3829, or Lynn Kempf, 440-286-9740.
Yours in Christ,
