Thanksgiving and Christmas Greeting Cards |

6:00 pm for potluck and/or 7:00 pm for card making
Every year in conjunction with the Department on Aging’s “Meals on Wheels” holiday dinner program, the UMW get together to create our own Thanksgiving and Christmas greeting cards to include with the homebound seniors holiday dinners. We have blank cards, ribbon, professional stampers, glue, cut-outs, etc. 1 hour of your time helps the holidays seem a little more special for our Geauga County Seniors. We start with a potluck supper at 6:00pm - but if you cant make it join us at 7! And, besides ... its fun! |

 The Cantoria Choir and the United Methodist Women joined together to present ‘International Broadway’. 20 tables with 20 different country themes were sponsored. There were 10 tickets for each table. The Hosts for the table decorated and prepared a special dessert that represents their country. USA - Italy - Germany - Scotland - Ireland - England - Browns Nation - Steelers Nation - Uganda - Mexico - Greece - Sweden - China - Spain - Iceland - Canada - Brazil - Caribbean - Austria - Egypt
Thanks to each and everyone of you. I would like to say a special thank you to all the hosts and hostesses for such wonderfully creative tables and desserts and to the stage technicians, costumes, entertainers (we were completely entertained), artist, Pam's music and Linda's direction. Also, a huge thank you to all who attended.

The UMW supports our church, our nation and our world with their fundraisers. We have funded the following projects this year, to date.
- $3,000.00 - National UMW Pledge
- $500.00 - Rock Foundation School
- $1,200.00 - Refrigerator for Parsonage
- $163.00 - Card Tables for Church
- $200.00 - Sunday School
In addition, we have pledged to raise enough money to fund a youth project, an UMCOR donation and more. Your participation whether by supporting our fundraisers with money or by helping us set up tables, and clean up helps us help the world. Thank you. |
