Chardon United Methodist Church

Thanks to a special donation with a request to do things to beautify the church we have been able to renovate the floor in Hayden Hall.  The basketball/volleyball lines have been painted and the tile has been stripped, sealed and waxed.   Soon the lower half of the walls will be freshly painted as soon as everyone agrees on a color.

Please help us keep it looking beautiful.  Please do not drag the tables across the floor.  Do not tape anything to the floor.  The lines that are there are suitable for either basketball (blue) or volleyball (red).  The new (different) basketball hoops belong to the City of Chardon.  Since they use the Hall the most they wanted to use a safer version of the basketball hoops then the ones the church owns.  We have stored the church hoops and they will not be put back into use until after the City removes their hoops.  Please be good stewards of the City’s property we have a lengthy and good relationship with our City and our community through their use of our facility.

Included with this special fund will be the renovation of the parking lot.  The lines have been repainted to get us through the winter.  Beginning next spring there will be an intentional maintenance program followed to bring the lot back to a safe and pothole free condition.
