Attendees of this seminar saw how you can truly connect with others, so you can encourage and influence them to come and know The Lord.  Don McLoed, owner of "Listen Up" LLC – a communication consulting company held a seminar, open to all, at Chardon United Methodist Church. 

Don presented "Listen Up" a seminar to learn how to interact with others, learn memory skills (can you remember the names of everyone you meet!) and understand how important it is to listen to others.

We started with a coffee and snack gathering at 8:30a.m. in the church lobby.  The seminar began at 9:00a.m.  After a break for coffee, everyone tried out their newly acquired listening skills, and had a question and answer time. 

It is so important in this year of so much change to learn how to communicate with everyone you meet. The seminar was free and open to everyone, a free will donation was accepted for United Methodist Women's ministries.
