Chardon United Methodist Church

Lent began Wednesday, February 25

The Worship Committee invited the entire church family (that includes YOU) to join us for our annual Ash Wednesday Soup and Bread Supper and Worship Service.  This evening began our spiritual journey toward Easter, the most holy of Christian Days.  It is fitting that we meet together as a family around the ‘kitchen table’ to share a meal of home made soup and bread.  It is also fitting that we gather to consider the journey of our Savior, Jesus Christ, to the Cross.

Supper 6:00 pm
Worship 7:30 pm

Church members provided everything for supper and an inspiring worship time.  The soups and breads were fabulous!  And the service was very moving.
