Bishop Streiff met with local United Methodists who have connections, or would like to have connections, with United Methodist churches in the countries he serves.
The Central Conference of Southern and Central Europe comprises the countries Albania, Algeria, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Tunisia. The Central Conference includes central and southern Europe and northern Africa, with 7 annual conferences in 14 countries, 20 different languages, 330 congregations and 36,500 members and friends. He delivered a short presentation of our central conference with a powerpoint, allowing enough time for questions and dialogue. He also discussed the “In Mission Together” program to build up partnerships.”
