Your Missions Committee has joined the “Advent Conspiracy”, and we invite you to join too! This is one conspiracy you do not need to keep secret. Share it with your friends, family and co-workers they might want to join too!

Worship Fully - Spend Less - Give More
Show your love for Jesus and all mankind
Join the conspiracy—here’s how!

  1. Worship Fully—Worship to create a world where peace and love reign, where Jesus is your center.
  2. Spend Less—on yourself, on gifts, on non-essentials
  3. Give More—God’s gift to us is love, he gave us his Son. Give to others - whether its food, clothing, shelter or just your time, a kind word, an understanding glance. Support your church in order to spread the Love and Gospel of Jesus to all. Open your doors, open your heart, open your mind to those in need.
  4. Show your love for Jesus and all mankind—Love unconditionally. Jesus loves all—sinner, saint, sick, disabled, healthy, rich, poor, regardless of race, color, creed or lifestyle choices.

Two Charities have been selected to receive our Christmas Missions Offering this year. Your gift will be divided equally between the Geauga Hunger Task Force and Rock Foundation School in Masindi.

Since 2004 the number of residents in Geauga County requiring food stamps as jumped from 1 in 16 to 1 in 5. Money spent by Geauga County to help feed families has gone from $156,000 in 2006 to
$516,000 in 2011. Your gift will not only help feed our local community this Christmas but throughout the winter.

Our support of Rock Foundation School began in 2002. They now offer Nursery through Primary 7 and Secondary levels 1 through 5 (equivalent to a Junior in High School here). The school has
approximately 500 students with 150 boarding on site. This has put increasing pressure on their sanitation services and water consumption for bathing and washing clothes. Funds provided
throughout the Advent season will be used to purchase gutters, downspouts and storage tanks for our dormitories and enable us to collect and use the abundant rainfall God provides.
