Looking for a valuable way to share your gifts and talents with others?  Are you good with numbers and willing to give a little of your time to make a positive impact?  Then don’t delay, sign up today!  Become a volunteer tax preparer for low income working families through the Geauga Financial Stability Partnership!  Training will be provided.

Beginning in mid-January, United Way Services of Geauga County will be coordinating ‘Free Tax Preparation Sites’ for low-to-moderate income families.  In order to provide these services free of charge, they are in need of volunteers that would be willing to receive training and provide these services.  The time commitment is minimal compared to the amazing impact this service will provide for our community.

• 1 hour of your time could be worth more than $1500 to a low-wage worker.
• Help bring an estimated $20,000 to Geauga County’s economy.
• Save local families from than $40,000 in tax prep fees.
