Dear Friends, We were deeply moved by the tremendous outpouring of love and appreciation showered upon us on our last Sunday with you in worship! It was a wonderful morning -- special music (more special than I’d imagined!), great tribute to our ministry with you (and for my whole career), flowers, special gifts and cards, food, and an overwhelmingly generous love offering (we were literally, speechless when we opened the card). Thank you each and everyone of you! We are especially grateful to Cathy Comerford-Nells (Liturgist for the day); Mark Lomasney (and all of the Staff-Parish Relations Committee); Prudie Rupp (and all of our UMW ladies); Pam White, Linda Prusha, Paul Hagan, the Cantoria and Handbell Choirs, and Reign Forecast (the S.T.R.U.C.K. band) for making the day the celebration that it was for us. Yes, and thanks to Rich Venn for creating the DVD, enabling the celebration to live on with us! It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your Parsonage Family for these last eight years. We hold each of you in our hearts and prayers, thankful to God for you, and we lift up the Drew’s as they come to serve Christ with you. With gratitude and love, Henry and Darlene |
