You may be a middle-school student making the transition to high school, or you may be a high-school student looking to make new friends. Sometimes, even if you have been in a church for awhile, it can be difficult to start participating in a church youth group. But you will find that it's a laid-back time to relax and get to know one another.
Participate in a church youth group by being yourself. Resist the urge to copy anyone else's personality. Relax and know that it is not wise to compare yourself with anyone else. Even the most popular and talented kids in the church youth group have their faults. Come, be yourself, and have fun in fellowship with God. Join our Oasis Facebook Group and learn more about us.

We are building on the idea that our faith journey changes and grows due to relationships
- our relationship with God and Jesus,
- our relationship with mentors, and
- our relationship with each other, in this case Sr. high to Jr. High and with their peers.

August 8, 6:00 pm (time of concert for newsboys)
Some of the guys may go see newboys in concert at the FEST 2010, in Willoughby. The concert is free! We will make plans to meet at the church before the concert and carpool. We don't plan to stay for the Mass or fireworks.
The FEST is a free, one day Catholic family festival. It features live music, games and activities, and much more! The day ends with an incredible Mass and an awesome fireworks display. It's an opportunity to come together as a people of faith, celebrating the wonderful things God has done in our lives and in our world.
Through the generous support of our sponsors, the FEST is FREE to all who attend. You may consider supporting the FEST by buying a FEST Raffle Ticket or making a donation. For more information about the FEST 2010, visit www.thefest.us.
