The Chardon United Methodist Youth Group had a special outing on Sunday, March 29th. We hosted “The Great Chicken Race” at our church for youth, grades 6 – 12. A little like TV’s “Amazing Race”, teams traveled by cars to find “The Great Chicken” all the while following clues and doing special “chicken” related activities to lead them to their final goal. Afterward we shared in awards, pizza, devotions and a final egg hunt to determine the winners.

We met at the church at 3:30pm to register and line up with the Race beginning at 4pm and finished by 7:30pm.

Rules:

  1. Drivers must be 21 (with proof) or older.
  2. All team members must have seat belts – so number on team defined by number of seat belts.
  3. All youth must have some form of permission slip signed by parent or guardian! (I have enclosed one of ours to copy if you need one.)
  4. Come have a great time!

It was a fun day!
