Relax ... Refresh ... Renew ... Retreat
Thurs., April 9 — Sat., April 11, 2009
Where: The Farmhouse, Parkman, Ohio (16650 Nash Road, Middlefield, OH 44062)
What: To retreat—get away from school, everyday stuff, problems, fears. To grow in—fellowship, friendship and love for God and each other.
Why: In this busy, crazy world we all need time to stop—to rest and relax so we can get closer to God and have some time to get to know others in our church better.
Time: 4 pm Thursday—11 am Saturday. Come any time—come for all or some. Leave and come back if you have sports activities. This is for you, so come as much or whenever you can.
Cost: $35—pays for rental of the house, linens, use of shower, tub and other facilities, towels and wash clothes and some food.
Bring: Toiletries, sleeping bag (some beds and couches but some may need to sleep on the floor), old shoes for walking around the pond, jackets, gloves, hats, pj’s, change of clothes, snacks and pop, DVD’s, CD’s, games, Bible and video games.
What: To retreat—get away from school, everyday stuff, problems, fears. To grow in—fellowship, friendship and love for God and each other.
You can fish on the pond, take long walks and see the Amish, play video games or cards, watch movies, roast marshmallows or just get toasty warm in front of the roaring fire, swing on the sun porch, lay out (if we have sun) and listen to music; as well as, spend time experiencing Christ’s journey to the Cross.
